Fabric of Time

So you can only live Now and at this time of year you'll probably find that you're just hanging on to the threads of the fabric of time. Time just disappears and the only time we can be sure of is Now. So don't mind the rush, do what you can do now and deal with what you can't do when you can, when that moment arrives.
Anyway, enjoy the fun of Christmas.

Irish Art Compendium - featured artist
I have the honour of being one of the featured artists on Irish Art Compendium in the artist section. It's a great site if you are looking for Irish art. I think there are over 400 artists there. You're sure to find something you like.

I've also had my picture Life's Paths featured at the Expose Yourself gallery in Dun Laoghaire. There are about 10 other pictures of mine there along with well over 100 from 23 other artists.

Expose Yourself

Great title, isn't it? This is an exhibition run by Karen Harper of the Irish Craft Association. It's in the Dun Laoghiare Shopping Centre, top floor. They have recently re done the interior and it's now all white, a perfect backdrop for this colourful exhibition.

Come along and see some great art. There are over 20 artists exhibiting there, so you'll probably find something you'll like. The opening is on Thursday evening at 7.00pm on 13 December and runs until the 23rd December.

I actually created some images for the site during the week. I hope to have a reasonable amount of information on it and have it illustrated with appropriate pieces of art.

The Giving Hand

I've spent most of my time working on my new art web site, and it's going to take a lot more time before it is ready to go public. The system I’m using to build it promises to get it high rankings in the search engines and lots of visitors. Part of the deal is that the site requires a lot of information which means a lot of writing and that's one of the reasons it's going to take time to get it built.

The Giving Hand
I was concerned that I didn't have any pictures to share with you but this morning during my contemplation this image of the Giving Hand appeared to me. I had a go at it tonight and it turned out ok. What do you think?

Expose Yourself
Another bit of news is that I'll be in another exhibition. Expose Yourself is the title of the exhibition which takes place in the Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre, top floor. Karen Harper of the Irish Craft Association is behind it. The opening is on the 13th December at 7.00pm and YOU ARE INVITED to come along. It finishes up on the 23rd December so if you need some nice Christmas presents you'll probably find something there.

There are several good artists showing and selling their work. If you're an artist, check out the site because I think she may have a few spaces left, and it's great value.
